In early August, sulfuric acid prices declined in some regions. As of now, the ex-factory price of 98% smelting acid in Hunan is 1550-1650 yuan/ton, and the delivered price of 98% smelting acid in Hubei is 1650-1750 yuan/ton. Recently, domestic sulfuric acid prices have been declining one after another, and the market price of smelting acid has generally fallen, with downstream purchase prices falling in tandem. Due to the impact of previously high acid prices, downstream enterprises faced significant cost pressures, reduced production capacity, and weakened market trading. As domestic acid prices have been adjusted, shipments have increased in some regions. Currently, downstream demand is basically stable, but the market's "buy high, sell low" mentality persists, and the sulfuric acid market will remain under pressure in the short term. Market sentiment is cautious, and the market is expected to continue its weak performance.
