China Titanium Ore Import Data (January–March 2026)

According to customs statistics, China imported about 491,200 metric tons of titanium ore in March 2026, up 2.81% year on year and 8.13% month on month.

The top three source countries were: Mozambique: 255,000 metric tons (51.9% of total March imports), Australia: 84,700 metric tons (17.2%), Nigeria: 39,000 metric tons (7.9%).

 

Total titanium ore imports in JanuaryMarch 2026 reached 1,401,200 metric tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.66% (an addition of about 22,800 metric tons).

The top three countries by import share were Mozambique (52.47%), Australia (17.89%), and Nigeria (8.29%).

Top three countries by import growth: Mozambique (+107,000 metric tons), Australia (+90,700 metric tons), Nigeria (+50,700 metric tons)

Top three countries by import decline: South Korea (62,300 metric tons), Kenya (48,600 metric tons), Norway (38,100 metric tons)

The number of source countries for imports fell in Q1 2026, largely driven by sluggish demand in the Chinese market.
