PPG Industries Pittsburgh, reported sales for the second quarter of $4 billion, down 2.6% from the same period a year ago . Profit decreased 26.7% to $272 million.
For the first six months, sales were $7.6 billion, down 3.3% year-over-year. Profit for the period was $584 million, down 17.2% from the prior year.
