According to customs statistics on titanium dioxide imports, in August 2026, China imported 5,403.37 tons of titanium dioxide, representing a year-on-year increase of 57.48% and a month-on-month decrease of 0.51%.

Among these, imports of chloride-process titanium dioxide totaled 3,487.29 tons, up 7.02% month-on-month. The top three countries of origin were Mexico, Australia, and the United States, accounting for 59.13%, 25.12%, and 11.94% of the total, respectively.
